Using an inkjet printer and 3M transparency paper you can transfer some cool images to watercolor paper and (I hope) canvas. Here’s my 1st attempt with this method. I scanned some 140+ year old Hungarian/German playing/tarot cards, reversed them employing photoshop, and then printed them out on 3M transparency paper. I then gessoed some watercolor paper,(no you do not have to use gesso- it’ll go on the paper just fine without having it), let it dry, then

Can I use glossy laser paper for an inkjet printer?

I found the perfect paper for a school project, but the paper is made for laser printers and I have an Epson inkjet printer. The paper is a 32lb coated glossy paper. I read that glossy inkjet paper can ruin a laser printer, but will glossy paper made for a laser printer work in my inkjet printer?

A laser uses heat to fuse toner to the paper. An inkjet sprays it on. I would believe that paper made to be used under heat is not the right one for liquid ink. It probably won’t work. By the way, I have been getting cartridges for my epson printers at www.ccs-digital.com for 50 cents. You pay 2.50 and get $ 2 back for the empties.
