Is it necessary to use an inkjet printer to print out screens for shirts?
Question by : Is it required to use an inkjet printer to print out screens for shirts?
I’ve been wanting to make tshirts, and so far, i’ve been utilizing the old fashion fabric paint method and t takes a lot of time, and tends to make a lot of mess. I was wondering if i had to use and inkjet printer to print out the graphics onto the transfer sheet? Or could i just use a normal printer?
Thanks, Much enjoy,
Nancy

Hey Nancy,
It is not required, no. You could technically use any printer to print the patterns out. The query is whether or not or not your printer prints plainly enough for your personal desires – the ink is also something that might come into query… does your ink run when the page gets wet (following it has dried initially)… if so then your printer may not be the greatest selection as the ink will bleed when you put the shirt in the wash.
I guess you could usually consider just 1 sheet out of the pack and see what transpires )
